Over the years, Marrone has developed a counterbalanced, interactive production process. Drafts are made and revised, technical elements are tested and finally new designs are released to the skilled hands of artisan builders. All of Marrone’s manufacturing takes place in Fiume Veneto but its designs are exported across the globe.

Marrone has customers in the Burj Khalifa and JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai, Ozone in Hong Kong and Massimilaiano Alajmo, the youngest Italian chef ever to receive three Michelin stars, chose to cook on custom Marrone equipment.

REGION

Marrone’s manufacturing facility is in Fiume Veneto, Prodenone, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. The area is home to the well-known production centers, Livenza and Maniago, known for their metalworking expertise, responsible for approximately half of Italy’s production of knives and other cutting tools. All of this production was strictly hand-done until the end of the 18th century, when the combined use of tools and tradition made manufacturing simpler and more precise. Friuli-Venezia Giulia is also one of Italy’s most beautiful wine regions. It’s situated in a transitional environment in northeastern Italy where Austria, Slovenia and the Adriatic Sea have berought many diverse cultures together. Today, Friuli is known for its many small, family operated vineyards growing indigenous and international grape species.
